1957 - A Year of Firsts

  • The first Newsletter was published by Annette McHugh
  • The first Bazaar was held at the First Presbyterian Church and earned $1500 for the Club
  • The house at the corner of Allen and Crestmont Streets adjacent lots were purchased for $17,553.
  • The Thrift Shop was started in its new home as inventory was moved from the Fraser St. school to Allen and Crestmont Streets.
